Rose is a Professor of Research Ethics and Research Integrity at the University of Oslo and Adjunct Professor of Medical Research Ethics at the University of South-Eastern Norway. She is also the Administrative Coordinator of the I-merse Research Group at USN. Prior to coming to Norway, she worked as Assistant Professor at the Medical Ethics Unit of the Julius Centre for Health Sciences and Primary Care of the Utrecht University Medical Center. She is an expert in medical research ethics and research integrity and is a seasoned university teacher with 23 years of teaching experience. She has a PhD in Medical Research Ethics from Utrecht University and a Master of Arts in Applied Ethics from both Utrecht University and Linköping University. Aside from her role in the ROSiE project, she is also the principal coordinator of another Horizon 2020 project, AccessAfrica. Since 2008, she has been working on several topics in clinical research ethics, global research ethics, research ethics in emerging technologies, regulatory ethics, and research integrity.

Rigmor is a Professor of Optometry and Visual Science at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences and Director of Research for the National Centre for Optics, Vision and Eye Care at the University of South-Eastern Norway, Kongsberg, Norway. She heads the I-merse Research Group and the Colour Vision and Retinal Imaging laboratory. She completed her a PhD in Visual Neuroscience in 2002 at the University of Manchester (UK) and was subsequently funded the prestigious Wellcome Trust Fellowship to do 3-year post-doctoral research in Visual and Computational Neuroscience. She returned to Norway and what has become the University of South-Eastern Norway in spring 2005 as Associate Professor of Optometry and Visual Sciences. She was promoted to full professor in autumn 2011. Aside from her role in the ROSiE project, she is the partner in another Horizon 2020 project, ERA-NET Neuron Artificial Intelligence for Diagnosing Retinal Diseases (AI-D). She is also the co-coordinator of the Horizon Europe project The Equitable, Inclusive, and Human-Centered XR (XR4Human).

Søren Holm is a Danish medical doctor and philosopher. He has been adjunct Professor of Medical Ethics at the University of Oslo since 1999 and Professor of Bioethics at the Centre for Social Ethics and Policy, University of Manchester since 2009. He has research interests in both research ethics and research integrity, and practical experience in both areas from chairing research ethics committees and research misconduct panels. He is a former President of the European Society for the Philosophy of Medicine and Healthcare, and of the International Association of Bioethics.

Heidi Beate Bentzen is a Researcher in law at the Centre for Medical Ethics, University of Oslo, and an Academic Affiliate at the HeLEX Centre for Health, Law and Emerging Technologies, University of Oxford. She researches the legal regulation of large-scale health and genetic data processing, sharing and secondary use both within and outside the EU/EEA, and teaches data protection law and research ethics. Bentzen was a member of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Privacy's Task Force on privacy and the protection of health data, and was part of drafting the global Recommendation on the protection and use of health-related data. Bentzen is Ethics Advisor for four medical Horizon financed research projects, on the advisory board of two further EU funded projects, and she is a member of the Norwegian Directorate of Health's Bio Reference Group, an expert advisory group for Norwegian authorities in biotechnology related matters. She evaluates proposals for the European Commission and the Dam Foundation, and conducts ethics reviews for the European Commission and a Norwegian Regional Ethics Committee. Her research has been published in journals such as Nature Medicine, Nature Genetics, and Science.

Teodora Konach holds a master degree in law (specialism Intellectual Property Rights) and cultural heritage studies, and she obtained a postgraduate education in cultural management. More recently, Teodora is involved in Digital Humanities research. She is a PhD candidate and worked as a researcher, lecturer and project team member at several European universities and research institutions. Since September 2019 Teodora works at the Austrian Agency for Research Integrity, on two EU-Projects: VIRT2UE and SOPs4RI. Within the Open Science movement, she is broadly interested in legal challenges and technology transfer, with particular emphasis on intellectual property rights.

Mathieu has experience working as researcher and project associate in research institutions, non-governmental and international organisations. As project officer at ECSA, François also conducts projects' stocktaking processes and coordinates the development of citizen science tools to foster a better anchorage of citizen science in scientific institutions and the broader scientific community.

Dorte is the managing director of the Europea Citize Science Associattion (ECSA). She is also the head of strategy development; networking at national and international level; establishing the Citizen Science Global Partnership. He graduated in biology, philosophy and education and holds a PhD and the venia legendi in philosophy. Dirk Lanzerath is highly experienced in European networking processes. Tom Lindemann was a researcher at EUREC Office where he is involved in several projects on research integrity and research ethics. In VIRT2UE, EnTIRE and Path2Integrity he has helped developing, organizing and implementing educational and awareness actions to promote research integrity, and in PANELFIT he has conducted research on ethical and legal aspects of data protection in ICT research and innovation. In the ROSiE project he focused on ensuring systematic stakeholder engagement thoroughout all phases of the project with a particular interesting in how open science affects the governance of research ethics as well as research governance more broadly. He is a political scientist with an interest in global governance and social theory, and worked at Saarland University prior to joining EUREC Office in 2018.

Lisa Häberlein studied Philosophy (MA, BA) and Educational Science (BA) as well as Ethics for Teachers and Professionals (MA) at the University of Vienna and is doctoral candidate in the graduate program "Human Rights and Ethics in Medicine for the Elderly" at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) (funded by the Josef and Luise Kraft Foundation). Her research interests include several topics from practical philosophy and ethics, such as personal identity, integrity and coherence, theories of ageing, moral education and intercultural encounters. Until September 2020, she worked as a research associate at the Academic Center for Sciences and Humanities of the University of Applied Sciences Coburg, responsible for developing dialogical learning materials on good scientific practice as a work package leader in the EU-funded project Path2Integrity. She joined EUREC Office in April 2021 and works on the ROSiE and ETHNA System projects, where she contributes to support responsible research with practical tools.

Olivier is an agronomical engineer with a PhD in biology. As a researcher at INRAE Bordeaux, France, for about twenty years his research interest has been to decipher the susceptibility of plants to viruses in order to assist breeding non-host crops, but also to describe virus biodiversity and to advance virus taxonomy. He then served for six years as head of the INRAE research division “Plant health and the environment”, coordinating the research of ca. 40 research units nationwide to promote approaches at the boundaries of biology, ecology, and eventually social sciences. As the deputy director-general for scientific affairs of INRAE for four subsequent years, he has then been in charge of organizing the research infrastructures, resources, partnerships and to set up the general strategy of the institute for the production of the interdisciplinary knowledge necessary for our societies to tackle the millennium’s challenges; in this movement he set up an institutional task force to promote open science approaches. Since 2017 he has been chairing the board of the newly created French office for research integrity (OFIS). A Physicist by degree, with an MSc in Materials Science and Technology and a PhD in Physics focused on Technology of Materials. Currently, his research interests are characterization of mechanical properties with indentation methods at various length scales and the built up of a metrological approach for the calculation of Surface Free Energy through nano-indentation, as well as research on Research Integrity. His early career research interest was synthesis and characterization of vitreous and glass-ceramic silica-based materials for industrial solid waste management. He is the author of 44 published papers (40 ISI), 1 book chapter, and 1 textbook. He is one of the contact persons and member of the coordinating team of Ethical Aspects in Research and Technology for Human network (EARTHnet), member of the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO), the European Network for Ombuds in Higher Education (ENOHE), and the national correspondent for Greece of SUPER-MoRRI project.

Elina holds a PhD in ecology, and her research has primarily been focusing on understanding how species interactions affect behaviour and population dynamics of wild vertebrates. She has also been actively engaged in science communication. For the past couple of years, she has worked at the Finnish Secretariat for the National Open Science and Research Coordination. At the Secretariat her responsibilities have been concentrated especially on open access, responsible researcher evaluation and communications. Carole is a project manager at the French Office for Research Integrity (Ofis), Hcéres. She completed her Ph.D in comparative literature at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris, in 2015. She has been working as a French literature teacher, an associate researcher and a lecturer and has been involved in French and European associations committed to research and higher education policies, especially with regards to research environment, good practices and enhancing working conditions for researchers and research staff. For six years, she has worked as a consultant, R&D officer and trainer for topics related to human resources strategies in Higher Education and Research. She joined Ofis in 2021, where her main tasks include European and international representation of Ofis and participation to international projects and collaborations, building of pedagogical and practical resources towards HER institutions (training tools, coordination and management tools) and participating to the national Research Integrity policy.

Prof. Costas A. Charitidis is a professor at the School of Chemical Engineering of NTUA (Director of Department of Materials Science and Engineering), with extensive R&D experience through collaborations with international research centers. He is Co-author of "Research Ethics: A comprehensive strategy on how to minimize research misconduct and the potential misuse of research in EU funded research" (2010), ‘Data protection and privacy ethical guidelines, 2009’, ‘ETHICS REVIEW-Lessons Learned, 2008’. He is also President of the Organizing Committee of the conference entitled 'Towards the Ethics of Research in the Framework Programme Horizon 2020 and the National Strategic Framework for Research, Techno-logical Development and Innovation (ESPEK)" (National Technical University of Athens, 2-3 April (2012). He is appointed representative of the Ethics Committee of NTUA and coordinates the Advisory Ethics Committee of NTUA. He was a member of the panel of seven experts, who drafted the guidelines for the operation of Ethical Committees at an institutional level, at the end of 2017. The document has legal mandate and is part of the new legal framework for the Greek Educational system and will address both issues of Research Ethics and Research Integrity. He is referee in International scientific journals, evaluator & scientific advisor of R&D projects, in European and National funded R&D projects. He is also involved in EU and National funded projects. Prof. Charitidis is the author of 184 published papers in ISI journal. His work has received 5469 citations (h-index 40, according to Google scholar). He is the coordinator of Ethical Aspects in Research and Technology for Human network (EARTHnet).

Signe Mezinska is Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the University of Latvia, Institute of Clinical and Preventive Medicine and Faculty of Medicine. Kadri Simm is Associate Professor of Practical Philosophy in Institute of Philosophy and Semiotics, University of Tartu. Her background is interdisciplinary, having first studied history (University of Tartu), she then did her MA in Gender Studies (Central European University) and her PhD in philosophy (Tartu). Many of her projects are located at the intersections of moral and political philosophy, health care and new medical technologies. She has previously published on benefit-sharing debates in biomedicine, ethical and social aspects of genetic research, mental health, feminist philosophy and theories of justice. She has published both theoretical conceptual work as well as empirical work and has joint publications with researchers from humanities, social sciences and medical sciences. Bjørn Hofmann is a Norwegian professor in philosophy of medicine and bioethics with special interest for the relationship between epistemology and ethics. He is affiliated with and the Centre for Medical Ethics at the University of Oslo in Norway and the Department of Health Science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) at Gjøvik. Hofmann is trained in the natural sciences (electrical engineering and biomedical technology), history of ideas, and philosophy. His main subjects and interests are basic concepts for health care, norms of knowledge and evidence production, handling of technology and (bio)medical ethics.

Jaana Eigi is a Research Fellow in Philosophy of Science, Institute of Philosophy and Semiotics, University of Tartu. She received her PhD degree in philosophy from the University of Tartu in 2016. She is interested in social aspects of science, widely understood. On her own, she has published on the social aspects of scientific objectivity, ethical and political aspects of the democratisation of science, and the role of non-scientists in science. As a part of the research group led by Dr Endla Lõhkivi, she has co-authored papers that use interviews with researchers in order to analyse qualitatively epistemic implications of work cultures in various disciplines.
