General Guidelines for Responsible Open Science

The 10^th Cross-SwafS Stakeholder Forum began with a welcome and introduction by François Jost of the European Citizen Science Association (ECSA). Following the introduction, each project provided updates on its recent activities and outputs.

For the discussion section of the meeting, ROSiE presented their "General Guidelines for Responsible Open Science" as a complement of The European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity. Those present worked collaboratively to provide feedback on ways to improve the quality and clarity of the guidelines. Issues regarding the correct use of language, properly and adequately defining roles of those participating in open science, making sure points with relevance to multiple sections correctly cross-referenced, and more were addressed.
